Everything you need to know about our fast and friendly pick up process.

  • Auckland Airport complimentary airport shuttle service

    Our Auckland Airport location is located minutes away from both the domestic and the international terminals.

    An Ezi Car Rental complimentary shuttle service runs during our opening hours, with a collection and return service to the terminal buildings.

    Simply call us on +64 9 254 4397, freephone 0800 545 000 and we will dispatch our shuttle.

  • To be collected from Auckland Domestic Terminal

    On arrival please phone us on +64 9 254 4397, freephone 0800 545 000 and we will dispatch our shuttle.

    Please make your way to the shuttle pick up collection point outside Door #7.

    Wait at the shuttle collection point, look out for the white and orange shuttle and we’ll get you to your car!

    Walk-ins: If you have arranged to make your own way to our depot, you will find the depot address in your travel documents or on your branch locations page. Please call us freephone on 0800 545 000 for directions anytime.

    On departure:Please allow sufficient time to call at the depot to drop your vehicle off to us and allow for time to inspect the vehicle and transfer time to the airport. Most international airlines require that you check in at least 2 hours before flight departure to complete formalities. If you have arranged an early drop off at the airport (prior to our opening hours), please confirm the details and instructions for the early drop off with Ezi Car Rental when you pick up your vehicle.

  • To be collected from Auckland International Terminal

    On arrival please phone us on +64 9 254 4397, freephone 0800 545 000 and we will dispatch our shuttle.

    As you make your way out from the arrival gate walk past the McDonald’s on the left and go to Door #11.

    From here turn right to get to the shuttle pick up zone.

    Look out for the white and orange shuttle and we’ll get you to your car!

Common information

  • Driver’s Licence

    In order to pick up your vehicle in no time, please remember that all drivers must have a current full driver licence at all times. If your licence is not in English, you must carry an official English translation or International Driver Permit (IDP) together with your original licence. Please be aware that most European licences don’t have their description fields in English and won’t be accepted without a translation document.

  • Credit Card

    Please ensure you have a valid Credit Card or a Debit Card with the Visa or MasterCard logo, you may be charged a bond when collecting your vehicle. We will need to take an imprint of your card details at the time of pick up for the bond security. The applicable excess amount for your hire may be held as an authorisation on your card as security, and released at the end of your hire. We do not accept cash for the bond.

Fantastic organisation to deal with, car was ready when we arrived. Car had less than 1,000 kms, was super clean and extremely handy when driving to/from snow fields. Very comfortable for 3 adults, fitted all our luggage and a dream to drive. Drop off back at airport was simple. Rental through Ezi was easy.
