Start: Nguruahoe Street off Bruce Road – State Highway 48 Get Google Maps Directions
The track starts on the road behind the Chateau Hotel just off the Bruce Road – Highway 48. There are a lot of exposed lava flows to see en route before coming across the waterfall. From here you can carry on up to the Tamra Lakes which is 2.5 hours one way to upper Tama Lake of medium difficulty.
